Pandit Rajshekhar Mansur’s music is revered by connoisseurs of Hindustani classical music, for its complete loyalty towards preserving the purity of the tradition of Jaipur-Atruali Gharana and for presenting it with an individualistic style inimitable and constantly creative.
He is also known, and loved by his listeners, for offering to them, pure and precious gems of rare, uncommon and unheard ragas from the treasure of his tradition, which he inherits from his father and guru, Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur, who was a great repository of rare ragas and the doyen of the gharana.
